The Japanese Reactors and Their Effect on Your Health
Anyone who has attended our lectures knows how readily we offer solutions for electromagnetic pollution. It is no surprise that the incidence of brain tumors escalated with the arrival of electric alarm clocks and now even more, with the prevalence of cell phones. We’re not Luddites who want to toss modern tools out, but we know that simple cautions can make a big difference in both short term and long term health.
Now, with the continuing nuclear catastrophe in Japan, and the ensuing dispersal of toxic radioactive materials, these precautions have become that much more important. There are various types of toxins, some accumulate, and some directly disrupt. The way radiation impacts the body is two-fold, first it damages cells clogging the system with free radicals, shaped like barbed balls, that tear at the tissue around them, damaging more cells in a growing cascade.
That’s where anti-oxidants like vitamin C and E and Proanthocyanidin, preferably in plant form come in handy. Many of the dark, tropical fruit drinks that have become popular recently, like Morinda Citrafolia, Mangosteen and Acai Berries, (not all that different from the Blueberry) are powerful Anti-Oxidants. It prevents and repairs free radical damage. Pomegranate has similar qualities, with the additional benefit of containing Ellagic Acid, that prevents cancer cells from extending their lifetime beyond that of a healthy cells span. This is the time to be a Pomegranate farmer because this onslaught of radiation is going to hike the cancer rates long term. Be healthy in self defense.
Seaweed salads, kelp and other high iodine plants should be part of your diet and supplements since they protect the thyroid and also pull radioactive materials out of the system. The second way that radiation and electromagnetic fields affect the body is by directly disrupting the nervous system, which is electrical in nature. Here are some protective suggestions.
Limit your time on your cell phone. Use your speaker phone. Smart phones emit considerably more radiation so use them to text. When you are not using them place them an arm’s length away. There has been a minor epidemic of hip cancers among men carrying their cell phones in hip holsters. Keep the CPU of the computer tower as far from you as possible. If you work with a lap top get a separate key board, mouse and screen so you can distance yourself from the main CPU. Keep all electrical devices as far from your bed as possible. The one exception is a lamp which emits minimal radiation when it is on.
The single biggest mineral deficiency due to electromagnetic fields is magnesium. Most people are out a of balance between calcium and magnesium and an additional 500 to 1000 Mgs of magnesium daily helps the body deal with the inevitable tension that electromagnetic fields produce. Don’t assume that just because a tool is marketed and wide spread that it is necessarily harmless. Use your brain, don’t lose it.
