Mercury just went retrograde on July 22nd, 2005. The companies that build and maintain large satellite networks determined quite a few years ago that there are more problems with these satellites during Mercury retrograde and they often have to increase power to maintain normal signal levels. They also experience a disproportionately higher incidence of breakdowns and other operational problems during this 3 week period that occurs 3 times every calendar year.
Why are we telling you this? Satellites are communications systems. They are electrical and electronic, and they function in a similar way to our own communications system, also known as the nervous system. If Motorola, RCA and NASA know enough to be more careful with these sensitive systems during these times, we might want to follow their lead and do the same for ours.
It is always smarter to plan ahead than to wing it. Don’t wait for problems to arise. Be prepared and feed that nervous system ahead of time so you can “boost” your own signal and not have any “down-time”!
The foundation for the nervous system is calcium! Makes sense when you think that it probably would not feel too good if those raw nerves of yours were bathing in a sea of acid, right? Calcium is alkaline and can by itself reduce the acid strain that makes your nerves raw in the first place! We like Coral Calcium powder because it goes to work easily and quickly. Who has time to feel frazzled?
Nutri-Calm is probably the best named product NSP carries. Nutri means “feed” or nutrify, and calm means, well CALM! In this fast-paced world, we don’t slow down in the summer; we speed up so we can squeeze in some time to relax! Nutri-Calm contains a combination of Vitamin C, the B-Vitamins, plus herbs like Schizandra, Valerian, Passion Flower and Hops just to name a few. When was the last time you fed your nerves anyway? Don’t you think it is about time!
Magnesium is another calming mineral that calms those twitching muscles like restless legs and Charley Horses. (Cute name for a not-so-cute condition! Probably named by the same person who called it your ‘funny-bone’!) We need lots of magnesium when we are around electricity and electronics anyway and who doesn’t spend way too much time on their computer these days? By the way, that clock radio beside your bed has got to go! Throw it out the window and buy a battery operated alarm clock. You will thank us way after Mercury goes direct!
Many people have interrupted sleep cycles during Mercury retrograde. You can prepare for that too. Melatonin is best used for short term sleep problems. Three mg. a half an hour before bedtime during these 3 weeks can do wonders. Melatonin is also a great anti-oxidant for the brain. People who have difficulties with attention, concentration or memory can also benefit from Melatonin. Just remember, don’t use it every night. It works best if used about 2-3 times per week after the first 3-5 days of nightly use.
You want to encourage your pineal gland to make its own Melatonin. Another thing you might want to do is make sure your room is really dark when you go to sleep. That is the key to your own Melatonin production.
Maybe Mercury goes retrograde 3 times a year to remind us to take care of our nervous system like it takes care of us. So turn off the night-light, unplug the clock radio and close the draperiesand sleep better!
