Many couples are having problems getting pregnant these days, in other words they’re suffering from infertility. That’s quite a change from when we were young when the problem was too much fertility! Boys had to be careful not to look at a girl too hard, because she might get pregnant. Now, couples spend thousands of dollars on medical procedures trying to overcome their resistance to reproduction.

Most fertility problems are nutritional. The body’s design is very practical. The reproductive glands, at the base of the torso, control fertility and potency. They are as far as they can be from the mouth, where food enters the body, while still being in the protected neighborhood of the torso.

When all of the internal organs and glands are asking for nutrition, the reproductive glands are down there at the far end of the line. That means, if the vital nutrition drops below a survival level the libido, fertility and potency shut off.

The modern American diet stinks and fertility levels are dropping like a rock. Men are taking dangerous drugs just for an erection. The situation is so bad that for a couple who wants to get pregnant, just eating better isn’t enough.

By weight, hormones are the most influential material in the body. Women use progesterone to promote gestation, the creation of a baby. The opposing group of hormones are collectively called estrogen. About 99% of progesterone is made in the ovaries at the base of the torso, but only 60% of estrogen is made there. The remaining estrogen is made in the brown fat cells along the spine. When a woman is starved for vital nutrition she’ll still make estrogen, but she’ll stop making the progesterone, responsible for enhancing the sex drive and protecting the baby. If a woman wants to get pregnant, she needs lots of natural progesterone in her system.

Part of the challenge is that they body’s hormones are created in a series of steps and progesterone can be converted into another hormone if some body system at the front of the line grabs it first. When the body is starved for high quality fats, that happens often.

A woman who wants to have a baby needs to first have a strong nutritional foundation and then, in addition, she must massively feed her hormonal system. We think that the most important hormonal helper is Pro-G-Yam® 500 cream. It helps the ovaries to function properly. When the ovaries become clogged with estrogen, they can’t make enough progesterone to promote a baby. Guess what cleans old estrogen out of the system? Progesterone!

A healthy, fertile woman makes 1½ milligrams of progesterone daily. In comparison she makes ½ milligram of estrogen. When pregnant, her ovaries have to make increasingly larger amounts of progesterone daily to hold onto the fetus. At 3 months the placenta assumes the role of making progesterone, producing 400 milligrams daily at full term. The abundance of progesterone acts as a cleanser and anti-inflammatory, helping the body carry the baby comfortably.

To encourage pregnancy, consistently use 2 tubes of cream per month, applying it 2 to 3 times daily wherever it will absorb and especially over the ovaries. When pregnant, continue using the cream twice daily through the first trimester. If at any time, after stopping the cream you become very uncomfortable, start using it again. Some women use the supplemental progesterone through the second trimester in order to feel comfortable. Reference the chapter #10 on Hormonal Harmony.

Remember your pre-natal supplements, Nature’s Prenatal® and Folic Acid Plus, starting at least 3 months prior to when you want to get pregnant to promote the baby’s good health. To encourage the baby’s intelligence add Omega-3 EPA (Fish Oils) 3-9 gel caps daily.

Another helpful herb to promote pregnancy is Hops. Yes, the same plant used in brewing beer. It cleans out old, trapped, hormones and helps you sleep better too. Take 2 to 4 before bed.

Here are some things to avoid like the plague: Anything containing soy or soy oil, it is an estrogenic plant that inhibits fertility, so read labels. Avoid excessive carbohydrates; sugar, wheat and cow dairy, which clog the ovaries. Avoid inoculations and pharmaceutical drugs, many are estrogenic and contain components that inhibit fertility.

Here are some other things to make sure that you have in your diet to feed the hormonal system. High quality lipids, like Super GLA Oil Blend, 3 to8 6 daily. Also, plenty of high quality protein in the diet, eggs and sperm are after all, mostly protein. Super Algae, 4 to 6 daily is a great protein supplement. Adding some

l-Carnitine helps the proteins to work more effectively, 4 to 6 daily

The secret to promoting pregnancy is to feed your system with natural pr esterone and high level nutrition consistently. Understand that it often takes about three months for the ovaries to clean themselves and return to a healthy hormonal balance that is then ready to create a baby.
