Much has been written about the concepts of eating a diet that is correct for your blood type. This information is very valuable, especially for people who have health challenges. The concept is pretty simple.

 

Every food has a protein component. That protein component is either like or not like the protein component of your blood. If they are alike, there is no problem. If they are different, it is a little like getting a mini blood transfusion of the wrong blood type. It causes “agglutination”, a fancy word for sticky. All the wrong components are stuck together so they don’t get loose in the bloodstream.

 

Eat a little of the wrong thing, no problem. It just gets stuck in a clump and escorted out of the body. Eat a lot of the wrong thing and the body has to start storing it somewhere until if figures out what to do with it. The body sticks it in low energy areas like joints, lungs, etc. Now these vital systems are sharing their space with invaders! No wonder that knee aches or you can’t breathe!

 

I hear you saying, “But I have a busy life! How can I always eat only what’s good for me? The truth is, you really can’t. Especially if you eat out and are not always in control of all the ingredients used in a dish. Remember, it’s not what you do 10% of the time but what you do 90% of the time that really matters so set a reasonable goal.

 

Major problems for Type O Blood types are wheat and dairy but they do well with red meat. B Blood types are the only ones who can tolerate dairy in adulthood but chicken and corn are their problem foods. A Blood types have difficulties with dairy and red meat but do well with fish and whole grains. Type AB is a blend of Type A and Type B so both apply.

 

Food Enzymes can be a big helper because it helps to break down the offending proteins more finely so they can scoot along the digestive process without delays. Carbo Grabbers and Fat Grabbers also help because they ‘grab’ onto the other components attached to the offender. The less time they spend in the bloodstream, the less time your immune system has to notice that there’s a problem.

 

GTF Chromium is a big help to eliminate cravings for wheat, carbs, sugars, etc. Often the foods we crave are just the ones that cause us trouble. Just one or two GTF Chromium daily puts you in control of the foods you choose.

 

When there are multiple blood types in the family, it is important to plan ahead meals together but the benefits make it worthwhile. You don’t have to remember all the foods on everyone’s list. Just concentrate on the main four or five don’ts and take your enzymes with every meal.
